Glass Wire Separator Insulators

Wire separator insulators were used to allow lower voltage three phase distribution in a very compact design.  The insulator would hang from a neutral wire and the insulated three phases would be held apart by the insulator.  These would be spaced every 12 feet or so on the support wire.  Glass versions are scarce and there are probably not many styles available

This glass wire separator was made by Corning Glass.  The glass is not marked, but the metal hanger is embossed
