Glass Stand off Insulators

Standoff insulators were used to mount high voltage electrical equipment or to support bus bars.  Most stand off insulators are made of porcelain, but there are a number of glass styles.

Here is a large Corning Pyrex standoff insulator that stands just over 12 inches tall.   It is marked Pyrex and with the Pyrex patent number.

Here are two smaller glass standoff insulators also made by Corning.  These are also marked Pyrex and with the Pyrex patent number.  The one on the left is 8 inches tall and the right is 3.5 inches.
