Porcelain Electric Fence Insulators

Electric fence insulators were extensively used from the early 1900's through the present.  Typically these insulators are mounted to the fence posts with a nail.  There is currently no numbering system in the hobby for porcelain electric fence insulators.

Shown are five different electric fence insulators.  These are mounted with nails through the center.  Many have the makers marking incused or embossed into the porcelain.  The great majority of these come in white, an unusual cobalt one is shown.
