Ćmielów: Poland

Ćmielów, Poland

Porcelain has been in production in Ćmielów since 1804. In 1887 the porcelain factory was rebuilt after a fire and was then owned by the Drucki-Lubecki family who used the DL logo. In 1920 Duke Drucki-Lubecki sold the factory to the Industrial Bank in Lwow and it was renamed to "The Factory of Porcelain and Ceramic Goods in Ćmielów" and they used the Ć in a triangle marking. After the privatization in 1996 their name was changed to AS Ćmielów Porcelain Manufactory.
