Dalian Porcelain Insulator Works: China

In 1915 the Japanese company of Shimizu established a porcelain factory in Dalian, China. In 1920 it became the Dalian Insulator which started manufacturing low voltage pin type ceramic insulators in 1923. After World War II Japanese ownership ceased and China took over. High voltage insulator production was added in the early 1950s.
