Giesche Porcelain Factory (Fabryka Porcelany Giesche) was established in 1923. The director was Richard Czuday, he led the construction of a new factory on the land of a former feed mill in Bogucice. By 1929 the factory had nine furnaces and employed 650 workers. Insulators were a significnat part of their production, particularly in the early years. In 1939-1945 period it was under German supervision. In 1945 Polish authorities took control. In 1955 it started operating as Bogucice Fabryka Porcelany (Bogucice Porcelain Factory) which went bankrupt in 2009.
