The Fifth National Show! June 29-30, 1974

The fifth national insulator show was held in Hershey, PA from June 29-30th.   Show hosts were Steve & Donna Bobb.  This great early show had 127 sales tables and 27 displays!  This was a Saturday & Sunday show as Nationals were not yet three day affairs.  The show opened to the public Saturday morning and there was a large line of collectors waiting to get in and apparently the walk through was solid through the show hours.  It sounds like the first CD 131.8 known in the hobby surfaced at the show!

Thanks to Steve Bobb for providing the pictures and information for this report.  Additional information supplemented by the Crown Jewels of the Wire magazine.
