The 41st national insulator show was held in Boxborough, Mass at the Holiday Inn.  Show hosts were Bill & Jill Meier and Dario DiMare.  The Holiday Inn was an impressive facility with a large well-lit show hall.  There were around 80 dealer tables and 18 excellent displays.  Dealers reported excellent sales and there was a great selection of both glass and porcelain available.   The show hosts arranged a bus tour of historic Boston during Saturday's show hours.

The show hall was well laid out with room for both dealers and attendees.  Being the first north eastern show since the 1995 Marlborough National it was good seeing a number of local collectors again.  The hosts provided an excellent awards banquet with an excellent banquet style dinner.  Two key NIA awards were presented at the banquet.  Elton Gish received his second Outstanding Service award and Howard and Linda Banks received Lifetime Membership, the NIA's highest award.
