Jan. 25, 1870: Pat #99,145 for Improvement in the Manufacture of Insulators for Telegraph Poles issued to Homer Brooke, New York, NY.
Jul. 5, 1870: Tax receipt for H. Brooke, Mfr., carried on at RR Depot, Centre St., New York City.
1870: Homer Brooke testified on behalf of Mason in the U.S. Circuit Court (So. Dist. NY) in Mason vs. Rowley suit.
1870 (early): Invention made by Homer Brooke  to first press glass to form the top or lip portion of glass, and leaving an amount of glass below such portion to be blown out as may be required, and worked in P. Schneider's factory at North 11th & 2nd St., Brooklyn, for glass which Mr. Albian Mann, of Sauer, Mann Electric Lamp Manufacturer., 23rd St., NYC.
Feb. 16, 1871: Homer Brooke testified in the matter of interference between his insulator press patent and the applications for similar inventions by Brookfield and Hemingray. [1871 U.S. Patent Office document]
May 30, 1871 Pat #115,521 for Improvement in Insulators for Telegraph Poles issued to Horatio Reed, Jersey City, NJ, assigned to himself and B.B. Hagerty, of Brooklyn, NY.
Jul. 3, 1873: Homer Brooke awarded priority in the interference proceedings regarding interference between his insulator press patent  (#99,145) and the applications for similar inventions by Brookfield and Hemingray. Aug. 25, 1874: Pat #154,451 for Improvement in Telegraph Insulators issued to Homer Brooke, New York, NY. Fld Apr 20, 1874. 
May 13, 1875: Advertisement of  Homer Brooke,  Glass Mould Maker, 1875 - 16 years located at White, cor. Centre Street, New York.  Formerly of the J.C. Glass Works.  Moulds for Patent Medicine Bottles, Fruit Jars, Mineral Bottles, Lamp Chimneys, Lantern Globes, and for Prescription & Chemical Bottles, &c., &c.  [Crockery Journal, May 13, 1875, p. 12]
1876: Homer Brooke, Manufacturer, White, cor. Centre St., New York, exhibited his Moulds & Presses, as well as several jars of preserved fruit at Location E, 10, 75 near the North-West  Entrance of the Machinery Hall, at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition.  These jars were later sent to Ball Brothers Glass Mfg. Co. and presently reside in the Ball Corporation Fruit Jar Museum in Muncie, IN.  [Trade card and stereopticon card]
May 22, 1877: Pat #191,102 for Glass Molds for Shade-Holders & Shades issued to Homer Brooke, Brooklyn, assigned to Bennett B. Schneider, New York City. Filed Jan. 20, 1877.
May 22, 1877:  Pat #191,103 for Mold for Glass Shades &c. issued to Homer Brooke, New York, NY,  assigned to Bennett B. Schneider, same place. Filed May 14, 1877.
Sep. 27, 1877: Advertisement of Homer Brooke, Glass Mould Maker, 18 yrs/ located at White, corner Centre St., New York. Presses Made to Order. [Crockery & Glass Journal, Sep. 27, 1877, p. 3]
