DESIGN FOR AN INSULATOR.


SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,684, dated August 8, 1893.

Application filed June 22, 1883, Serial No. 478,521.  Term of patent 14 years.


To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LAURENCE B. GRAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Insulators, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a view in elevation showing one side of the design, and Fig. 2 is also a view in elevation representing the insulator in elevation, and turned a quarter from the position in which it is shown in Fig. 1.

The insulator has the cylindrical section a,

 

the neck a’ above the cylindrical section and having the curved surface a2 and the head a3 in plan, of about the size of the barrel a, and having the recess or groove a4 extending across the same from one side to the other, the remaining surface of the head being rounded or curved from its lower edge to the edge of the cross-recess or groove.

What I claim is--

The design for an insulator herein shown and described.
