National Insulator Association
55th Annual Convention & Show
June 28-30, 2024

Elkhart, Indiana (Hoosier State)

General Show Information

Your Show Hosts for the 55th NIA National Convention and Show invite you to join us in Elkhart, Indiana for the 55th Annual National Show. The show will be held in a large well lighted hall at the NIEC. We are initially expecting 120 8’ dealer tables, but have the room to expand as needed. We are looking for at least 15 displays, but also have the capacity to increase that number.

There are multiple hotels within about 5 miles. We are in conversation with a couple of them to get a reduced rate for attendees, but they are not releasing the rooms for booking until the end of June. Stay tune for this information.

One local attraction we would recommend would be the Shipshewana Indiana Flea Market & Auction. Shipshewana is located about 20 miles to the East of Elkhart. The Flea Market is open on Tuesday & Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Auction is only on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is an Amish community, so there are multiple other types of shops and places to eat. There will be a pre-convention tour offered Thursday June 27th , that will take attendees to the Chocolate Company Factory & gift shop, South Bend History Museum, the Studebaker Museum & Oliver Mansion. Then you will be taken to the food court at Notre Dame, where you can by lunch(not included), followed by a tour of Notre Dame. Transportation is included. Departure at 8:15 am from the Northern Indiana Event Center, with return around 4:15 pm.

We will also be having a Family/Social Night after the membership meeting Friday night. There will be a cash bar during the meeting through at least 8:30 pm. Immediately following the meeting, we will transition into this event.

The grounds of the Event Center is also home to the Manufactured Home & Recreational Vehicle museum. This can be toured at your leisure and is located next to the Event Center. For more information, ongoing announcements and planning, visit: www.nia.org/shows/2
